Driftwood Inn and Lodge by the Lake

We are a family run business. We are originally from Texas and moved to the Toledo Bend area to be close to the friendly people, beautiful environment, amazing lake, and surrounding woodlands.

In 2021, we were offered an opportunity to acquire this beautiful and expansive 7 acre property complete with hotel, camping park, and boat landing. Built in 1968, it was a favorite place for the late Governor of Louisiana, Edwin Edwards.

Since we purchased the property we have completed renovations including refurbishing the hotel rooms from floor to ceiling, installing a new roof to the building, and adding additional lighting.

The Event Center and main lobby was restored and remodeled; it is ready for weddings, receptions, and family reunions. The Event Center has a spacious dance floor. The bathrooms have been renovated and tile has been put down.

We want everyone to enjoy this part of Louisiana as much as we do. We are thrilled to invite people to the region; we are certain you will fall in love with the area as we have.

We take pride in offering quality spaces at affordable prices. We offer simple, clean, comfort. This is a great place to relax and unwind after spending the day enjoying the outdoors.  The American Bald eagle is nested within this environment.

We offer neat and relaxed rooms at inexpensive prices.  We want everyone to enjoy this gorgeous country side. Spending time outdoors can be so refreshing and inspiring. Time outdoors can revitalize the mind and restore serenity to the spirit.

We have incredible fishing locations. At Toledo Bend Lake there are a large variety of fish to be caught including bass and catfish.  Fishing guides are available. There is access to Toledo Bend Lake via a boat launch connected to the hotel property. Boat launching is free for guests.
